In a manner to connect with the students interests, experiences, talents and the real world, the program curriculum is divided in two distinct parts
a) ART & ANIMATION CURRICULUM
b) CROSS DISCIPLINARY CURRICULUM
In the first phase the child is acquainted with the art of animation by the Aniguru faculty. He learns animation principles like notions of timing, velocity and motion as well as animation techniques like digital, cut out and stop-motion.
This process improves the creative visualization of the child. It develops interest and accentuates his artistic abilities.
Once the student is familiarized with the art curriculum, the Cross Disciplinary Curriculum is introduced. The curriculum is based on the creation of animation projects developed for traditional disciplines such as Science, Geography physics English and many others.
The project aims at engaging students to create a exciting learning environment. Every project is devised in such a manner as to take the student (or team) through multiple activities that have been intricately designed to explore, understand and report on a given topic. The final activity introduces students to selected animation applications, giving them the opportunity to create dynamic visual presentation.
The program results in integration of various subject related projects prescribed by the CBSE, ICSE and other educational boards into animation projects, making the process of learning active, research driven and outcome based than passive, text book driven and time based.
